Jincai Wu: Chinese government should let people go towards common affluence
吴金才(jincai Wu)
The polarization has been very serious in Chinese society. Some government officials have taken advantage of privileges and improper means to steal huge amounts of wealth. They are lack of man’s guidelines, immoral and greedy to wealth. These people have ignored people’s bitterness and often taken advantage of working excuses to bully people, blackmail subordinate and done everything evil. The phenomenon is everywhere and forming a kind of vicious circle in Chinese society, leading to many poor people hard to afford housing, to see a doctor, to attend school or support families. Currently, some people are resent to government officials and gradually lose confidence to the government.
Chinese government once proposed that let one part of people become affluent and ultimately let all the people go towards common affluence. Initially the starting point is good and according with people’s willing. However, this policy lacks of powerful guarantee for law and social system. The privilege at officials’ hands, rioting corruption, intervallic polarization, upgraded contradiction between officials and people and endless rights-defending events will surely lead to the completely out of control. Presently, the whole country and people won’t go towards common affluence and poor people in today’s Chinese society still occupy the majority.
Common affluence doesn’t indicate even wealth; however rich people’s wealth should be obtained reasonably and then rich and poor can get together. The rich should keep low profile, because we hold the same sky. After all the rich have already shared much more resource and they should also take much more social responsibility.
