Yizhu Jin: China Should Remove the Taboo of Freedom of Speech

Lacking freedom of speech, people’s speech has been restricted by the government. The communication environment between people has existed serious defect. People are careful when speaking, because they are afraid of getting trouble, when they are speaking. Today, Chinese people are lacking freedom of speech for a long time, although Chinese Constitutions regulates that Chinese people have the right of freedom of speech. They fail to realize the truth. CCP government has considered freedom of speech the influence of solidarity. It thinks that freedom of speech has influenced the government image and fails to set up prestige. That’s the surface harmony of Chinese society and as the matter of fact; it is the main reason of disunity.

In Chinese society, it’s Chinese people’s wish to solve out the problem of freedom of speech and impetus the reform of democracy politics. It’s Chinese people’s goal to open up party taboo and realize multi-party democratic politics system. CCP government should subject to people’s willing, gradually remove the taboo of freedom of speech and set up a goodwill beginning of democratic politics reform.
