Jian Wang: Autocratic System is the Safeguard for Corruption

Corruption in Chinese society has been well known. The main character is all participating from government officials to staffs. It has formed the phenomenon that government officials have represented the “Group Corruption”. From the surface, it is a simple corruption. As a matter of fact, it is the systematic corruption meaning “Fish begins to stink at the head”. The origin of the corruption has been seized the main power at the hand of the Chinese government and officials.

If the social system Chinese government has carried out is monitored by people and government officials are also honest and upright, corruption can’t be formed. However, as the matter of fact, government officials took the lead to corrupt. Little officials’ future and livelihood has been mastered at the hand of senior officials, leading to corruption ultimately. Hence, the essence of corruption has been led to corrupt and others followed to corrupt. Consequently, autocratic system is the safeguard to corrupt.

Hence, we should get down to renovating the current autocratic system to solve Chinese corruption problem. The experience of global democratic countries tells that only democratic freedom system can control and inhibit corruption.
