Yanfei Wang: Does China need democracy and human rights?
Does China need democracy and human rights? When I raise this question, I think a bunch of wise and aspiring hero will laugh at me. It is certain that it is a simple and stupid question. Why I think this question is simple and stupid? The reasons are listed below:
1.China possesses one fifty population in the world. That is to say, one per six people is Chinese. Why a country possessing so many people doesn’t know how to respect people? In the world, people play a vital and basic part in social shapes and forms. Under such kinds of situations, we do need to respect human rights, don’t we? The answer is obvious.
2.56 nationalities have constructed China and every nationality has its own character and history. They have followed the tradition and belief of their ancestors. Why not hearing from the bottom of their heart and defend their welfare? Since CCP came into power, they have been entitled a new world “minority”, which originally a dwarfing and disrespected word.
3.When trillions of Chinese people have suffered the artificial chemical elements into our food by immoral merchants, authorities have been bribed by these immoral merchants. It is a sort of evil-doer helper and it has deterred our comparators. Their living rights have been deprived. The quality insurance of our country is invalid. These foods have been labeled “National Identity” and “International Identity” and sell well globally.
Let’s go back to the topic of human rights. Two decades ago, those talented well educated young people who pursue democracy and freedom oppose autocracy and corruption. It is they that are the pioneer and flag of our China democracy. However, 20 years later, we are looking forward to a saying for sorry, but what we wait for is increasingly severe autocracy and governance instead of true reform. One-party dictatorship and one-party autocracy are the so-called democracy. They are trying to take advantage of the nation-wide Internet bar to make adolescents indulged into the relentless internet games and let them forget about the aspiration and pursuit towards democracy and freedom. That is so-called democracy. They secretly persecute democrats and deter them and label them with “state-subversion”. That’s so called democracy. But I firmly believe that the spark of Chinese democracy and freedom won’t extinguish due to CCP’s evil act. Mr. Jun Wang, predominant democratic lead said that our life is short and born with equal. We have rights to pursue our freedom of life and we should understand and respect others and vice versa.
Democracy freedom Fire! You can not only light up the road ahead, but also can make the autocracy that hide in the dark corner feel horrible! You warm up those who have fought for freedom. You also can burn those who ignore life into ashes.
