Bencheng Miao: The government should find the corruption from the system

Democratic country officials’ power comes from people. When they use the power at hand, they should accept people’s monitor and restriction of law. On this case, the corruption problem from power is less likely. However, Chinese society is a one-party autocracy society. The power is endowed by organization and upper-class officials and thus this power only needs to be responsible for them and totally separate from people’s monitor. Power and money can be exchanged through illegal methods; making power the most serious corruption and making the illegal income pour into the corruptive officials pockets.

Chinese government doesn’t realize the serious of corruption problem and begins to unprecedented anti-corruption movements. Due to the failure of system or anti-corruption code from the law, it leads to the bad anti-corruption. Corruption has appeared to big acreage. Some officials corrupt unscrupulously and even openly bribed.

One-party autocracy has cost a lot for the Chinese serious corruption. Although the government has aware of the potential danger of corruption, its action of anti-corruption is only addressing the symptoms not the cause. As government, it should find out the reason from the system and it is the crucial to solve the problem.
