Shaojun Liu: Chinese society should implement democratic election

Chinese people are simple, kind-hearted and pragmatic. To the majority of Chinese people, they don’t care which party came into power, who is the chairman, who is the premier, or even who is the governor of province or mayor. They are like the tame flock and herd in the wild plain, and would like to have stable grassland belonging to them. In the nation-wide, or some places which has implemented the democratic election in the districts or villages, local people are feeling sunshine under the sky. People don’t understand that this kind of act won’t make CCP lose regime or make people distressful and why CCP authority won’t do till now?
Chinese government only relieves where the pain is or makes some new slogans, but it doesn’t solve any problem. What Chinese has done is aimed to handle people’s gradual awareness of democratic theory and made some basic-level officials’ election.
Chinese government should understand that it has blocked itself into the dead end and the wheel of history has pushed Chinese society into the track of democratic constitution. Carrying out the democratic election in provinces, counties, boroughs or villages, it is not only applicable, but also the only way.
