Jin Wang: Unfair Educational System
China has been the Civilization ancient county for 5000 years. Since Saint Kong, the past dynasties have extremely emphasized education. We can see that China has had the tradition for education. Students have strived for the study and indicated the education. Furthermore, schools don’t exclude poverty. Only if you study hard, everyone has the opportunity.
However, after CCP has implemented the educational industrialization, it has begun the so-called the luxury school. Corresponding to it, huge amounts of poverty children are forced to drop out. Unfair education has become the obvious problems in China. Some local governments have made man-made bridge and huge input on the key schools and even made star-schools, making it become the powerful people’s sits and the resource of finance.
However, after they go to the key high school, they often can go to the good university. The key university in China, especially the top university mainly serves for the mighty people. For example, that the rural student ratio in 1995 was 18.5% has reduced to 16.3% in 1999. In Qinghua University, it has been reduced from 20.7% in 1998 to 17.6% 2000. Concerning the popular specialties, administrators and technical-class level have occupied 57.3%, but workers, farmers and unemployment people only occupied 25.4%. Chinese education has functioned as the separator and the government has made the key elementary school, middle schools and universities serving for the mighty children. However, children of the minority class fail to be admitted. The social polarization has been much more serious.
