Xiaowei Liu: Let the Chinese Society Achieve Moral Civilization and Development

The Chinese society nowadays lacks the basic moral civilization. Because of the corruption and inability of its officials, the government loses the necessary dignity and credit. When the government officials use the property, freedom and rights of common people to make deals with money, no one will respect them. Where has the morality and conscience of the government gone? Where is the country’s law? The people of China should feel deeply sad for the lack of morality and conscience in this society. The autocratic government and its officials do all things to achieve their interest and have no morality, no conscience and no shame. The fundamental reason for the lack of law, credit and discipline is the one-party dictatorship.
Morality and conscience is the dispensable part of traditional civilization, not only for individuals and groups, but also for the country and society. Morality and conscience is also the soul of humanity to establish a harmony society. When a person has morality and conscience, he will behave in the ways of caring, loving and supporting others and he will receive love, care and support from others in return.
Today’s Chinese society asks for the government to promote morality and conscience. As the government and its officials, they must act according to morality and conscience. Only then, can they serve the people better and the society of China will be in order. The human civilization will keep on developing in the society of China and make the society a civilized and developed one step by step.
