Weibing Wang: The Key to Eliminating Corruption is Complementing Multiple-Party Democratic System
王卫兵(Weibing Wang)
Under the one-party dictatorship, the political power of Chinese government concentrates too much in the hands of the officials. Therefore, they have absolute power, which in turn leads to absolute corruption. The result is that in the past 60 years, the CCP controlled society of China face more and more severe problems of corruption. Some official even dare to corrupt openly. If someone would say that no official in China is not corruptive and one cannot be an official without corruption, his saying is not too extreme.
The deep rooted reason for this phenomenon is the one-party dictatorship of CCP. Officials in all levels of government ignore the difficulties of ordinary people. Their work is only to fawn the officials at higher positions, persecute ordinary people, eat and drink from day to night and collect money by all possible means. The government hasthe control over all the press and restricts speech freedom. All the contexts we see in newspapers and magazines and on TV are the “verified” so-called positive information. The Chinese society seems to be “harmony” all around, but the Chinese people actually live in poverty for long.
It’s time for China to become a democratic nation and only democracy can save China. The Chinese society must discard the one-party dictatorship of CCP, fulfill the ideals of democracy, freedom, human rights and constitutionality and allow free establishment of parties. If there are two or more ruling parties in China to supervise each other, none of them will be corruptive and the government will become uncorrupted. This is the key to eliminating the problems of corruption.
