Nanji Piao: The Birth Control Policy is Extremely Harmful without any Benefit

It has been three decades since the Chinese government formulated and performed the birth control policy. At that time, Chine’s economy fell far behind and population exploded. The government then decided to decrease the birth rate to relief the economic pressure. The notorious policy came out. When they implemented the policy, women from all ethics and ages who are at the appropriate age for pregnancy were included into the scale of the policy. Even we Korean ethic women at the remote areas of China couldn’t escape the disaster. We were pulled onto the operation tables like animals to do abortion, ligation and miscarriage. The whole process is full of violence and blood.

The birth control policy not only devastates the body and spirit of Chinese women, but also goes totally against the natural rules of human development. Because of the traditional culture, Chinese people in many regions have the notion of preferring boys for girls. Therefore, a series of negative results appear. The number of men is larger than women and the proportion between genders loses balance. The healthy development of human beings is facing inevitable risks.

No matter seen form any perspective, the birth control policy is extremely harmful without any benefit. In addition, it’s a severe persecution on human rights. Chinese women also need humanitarian and freedom. They want Chinese government to stop performing policy incidentally.
