In a democratic country, the government doesn’t restrict people’s speech freedom and they can express all opinions at will. There is no intervention to “negative” news. All speeches are open and free: every media, magazine and newspaper is open that they can report everything without limitation.

In today’s Chinese society, the people have no speech freedom and they are not allowed to have negative talks.        The government implements severe means to supervise press reports. Media can’t report on all aspects of the society freely. Chinese people only have access to government controlled newspapers and magazines, or watch TV shows on channels permitted by the government. The information on these media has already been filtered that only news about government’s success or prosperity of the society can be seen, which is absolutely false appearance.

Chinese government must stop behaviors of limiting the speech freedom and press freedom, and give back rights of speech freedom back to its people. Therefore, the systematical reform in China will step forward and in turn promote the development of social morality and civilization.
