Ying Lu: Only Prosperity of Education Leads to Prosperity of the Nation

Everyone needs to get finely educated in his life. One can find a preferable vocation if he has abundant knowledge. For the same reason, a nation and an ethic wanting to be prosperous and developed have to rely on education. In the society of China, serious problems exist in the educational system. Many children can’t commonly receive compulsory education and some children have the risk of dropout.

Nowadays, the department of education in China strictly controls the educational fund in hands, controls the educational facilities of each school and the affiliated teachers. Today’s schools are also changing gradually. The place once regarded as representative of morals has appeared corruption too. From presidents to teachers all take part in the distribution of schools’ interests. All kinds of meaningless fees add burdens on students and their families, making some students with less money give up their study.

The educational system in China must be reformed. Corruption in education must be curbed. More educational funding is necessary. Therefore, all children can have good education. As said before, only prosperity of education leads to prosperity of a nation.
