Xiao Liang: What are the Reasons for the Instability of Chinese Society?
梁潇 (Xiao Liang)
The stability of a country’s society is maintained by a reasonable political system, not by administrative means of the government or high pressure management of the military and police. Chinese government propagates the ideas of establishing a “Harmony Society” and “Stability Overwhelm All”. Look around today’s Chinese society, because of systematical reasons, income gap deepens, morality falls, hatred over the rich increases, government and the people are full of contradictions and conflicts between soldiers and ordinary people keep on emerging. The whole Chinese society is in turmoil and the government is under a political crisis.
Democratic country has an appropriate and steady social system, so the society has speech freedom, press freedom and high transparence of social information. Therefore, all social contradictions are known by public. The relation between person to person will be equal, basic human rights of the people are confirmed, the people can find ways to express their complaints and receive fair dealing and large scale conflicts between people and police can be avoided. As a result, the entire society is extremely steady.
China is a country under the one-party dictatorship of CCP. The men with political privilege deprave the basic human rights of the people and take advantage of high pressure means to control the people. The society seems steady at appearance, but there are irreconcilable and profound contradictions between officials and ordinary people. The true situations in China are extremely unstable.
