Pu, Shaohua: Comply with “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights”Together
普绍华(Pu, Shaohua )
Tomorrow is December 10th. The same day in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly passed the No.217A resolution and published “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights”. It has been 61 years after this decision. Terms in “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights” prescribe as follows: “Violence, anti-humanity, massacre, and overseeing or humiliating human rights, all these violent behaviors stain the conscience of human beings.” “In spite of the political statues of related countries and areas, the declaration must be promoted, displayed, read and interpreted in schools at all levels and other educational institutions.”
Chinese government completely ignores “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights” and tramples human rights at large scales for a long time. Nowadays, Chinese people are facing a government without any rationality and justice. What can we do? Chinese people must stand up to maintain and defend human rights. Years after year, Chinese people has paid high price for keeping human rights and resisting violence. Only by ending persecution, eliminating violence and complying with “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights”, blood can stop bleeding, human rights can get ameliorated and China can establish a society with democracy, freedom, human rights and constitutionality.
