Yanping: China’s Birth Control Policy Violates Natural Rules

In implementing the birth control policy and related rules in China, women from all ethics at all age groups have to comply with the policy strictly if they are appropriate for pregnancy. Many women appropriate for pregnancy have gone through compelled abortion and miscarriage those so-called “Birth Control Enforcement”. The birth control policy has violated the Chinese women’s right of fertility and infringes their basic human rights for long.

The birth control policy not only violates the natural rules, but also strangles Chinese women’s normal wish to give birth to children. It also influents the age structure of Chinese population, sex structure and ethic structure. All these situations are against morals and conscience. Human beings are progressing towards the direction of civilization. Chinese people will not tolerate a government who defers the growth of population on the price of cruelly harming the bodies and mind women and infringe their basic human rights.

As we see today, the birth control policy has more disadvantages than benefits. Furthermore, it has left endless injure to the society. The natural population growth should not be included into the government’s plan. Therefore, the birth control policy must be abolished immediately to ameliorate the basic human rights of Chinese women.
