Bingfeng Wang: A Government Must Respect and Protect the Human Rights of its People

The human rights situation in China has long attracted the attention from international community. For these years, the human rights are never got critically improved in China, which is a universally known truth. Especially in the year after Beijing Olympics, there appeared many persecutions on human rights. Lots of rights protectors, dissents and religious people are cruelly persecuted and even arrested and put into prison.

Respecting human rights is a universal value acknowledged by the international community. Human rights are naturally existing and holy as well. We appeal for people loving peace never surrenders to the autocratic system in China and the democratic forces in world to place pressure on Chinese government and ask it to improve human rights conditions. The Chinese government must follow the people’s will, respect and protect basic human rights.
