Zuolong Zhu: Where is the Way to Anti-Corruption in China?

A autocratic system will contribute to absolute power, which in turn leads to absolute corruption. The one-party dictatorship of CCP has all features of an autocratic system. CCP officials are not elected by people no matter high or low their positions are. They are all designated by the department of organization from CCP’s central part or named candidate by higher officials. Every official not only has absolute power, but also do not need to be responsible to the people. Their power avoids the supervision of people and restriction of laws. They can exchange power with money to gain personnel interest, exploit ordinary people and revenge their enemies using the power. Chinese people deeply suffer from officials’ absolute power and go through a lot of hardship.

Nowadays, people worldwide all hate corruption and all countries are taking measures to resolve corruption. Chinese people ask for punishment on corruption as well. However, problems of corruption in China increase continuously. Then, where is the way to anti-corruption in China? The answer is really simple: anti-corruption must depend on systematical innovation. Only by realizing democracy, freedom, human rights and legislation, can problems of corruption be completely oppressed.
