Jingxu Zhang: Speak Sincerely, Tell Truth and Fight for Speech Freedom

Speaking sincerely, telling truth and talking freely are the basic conditions for a society to develop healthily. It’s a normal thing for a person and a government to always tell the truth. However, in the CCP ruled China, there is no speech freedom that all things are decided by CCP authority. The government use lies to cheat the people for long. Even the laws formulated by the government have many terms which only exist on paper. These terms are nothing different from lies. Facing these dirty deeds of Chinese government, how can the people dare to speak sincerely and tell the truth?
During the June 4, 1989 incident, centered in Beijing, thousands of Chinese people and students went onto the streets asking for punishment on corruption and implement of democracy. The people spoke out their true desire in heart. The CCP authority then sent out military and utilized violence to cruelly squelch this large-scale democratic movement. Here came the internationally striking incident known as “June 4 Massacre”. Now 20 years have passed, but the CCP government still insists that they killed nobody in June 4.
Contemporary Chinese people have realized that only by fighting for speech freedom, speaking sincerely and telling the truth, can Chinese people and the society find hopes.
