Jingxu Zhang: China Should Take a Big Country’s Responsibility on Environment Protection

Because of the industrialism internationally, the air, water resources and natural environment are being polluted day after day, especially that of China, a nation with high speed economic growth. Due to the bias of government policies on economy development, the environment protection works are ignored. A lot of funds are invested on industrial projects. The government neglects to put appropriate amount of money into environment protection. As a result, China’s economy has developed these years, but the problems of environment has become severe and even serious affected people’s daily life and body health.

At the time when people globally face critical problems of climate change and the globe warming caused by human beings’ destruction on environment, the government must keep this in mind that as a economy giant, it has to take the responsibility on environment protection. Since China is a country with the largest population in the world, thousands of people living in this country still lack basic sanitary conditions and basic rights of enjoying a healthy environment. It has to take the responsibility.
