Contemporarily, the water and air in half of the Chinese cities has been seriously polluted. The whole region of China experiences large scale, deep degree and influential destruction. The pollution in China is mainly caused by the industrious factories as the pollution source. The factories have to take the responsibility, so as the different levels of government who take care of environment protection. The nation should also take the responsibility.

About 30 years ago, the Chinese government made a mistake in policies to promote economy. It takes advantages of all conditions to develop economy, but never puts environment protection on the important place. Nowadays, the serious environment pollution has become the obstacle before China’s economy. The devastation of environment in China has largely increased the difficulties of environment protection.

The environment protection in China is a threat to the whole environment in the world. A giant country with large population and developed economy should take the most responsibility in international community. The Chinese government must strictly make and administrate laws on environment protection. Meanwhile, people’s awareness of environment protection should get enhanced. To effectively control the pollution caused by economy development, China must truly perform the responsibility and obligation as an economy giants on areas of environment protection.
