Nian Liu: The Multi-party Rule Democracy System is Appropriate for Chinese Society

The fundamental way out for the reform in China’s social system is to get rid of “One-party Dictatorship” and establish a multi-party rule democratic politics. When the political power is back to the people and people have the rights to decide the issues of the country, the country will then be a authentic democracy country. Under the democratic system, China can truly have legal independence, military nationalization and protection over national sovereignty and the interests of people. The power of government will be prevented from being the tools for officials to corrupt and maintain privileges. Press freedom and speech freedom become possible. The media can express the intentions of people and exert the function of supervision. Corruption is eliminated. Democracy, freedom and human rights are guaranteed.

The system of democracy can properly solve the problems of mutual relation between government, party and constitution. The constitution is put at the supreme position and restricts the power of government and officials. A party has to obey the constitution and laws, go through election and get recognition of people to win the power to administrate. Not any party, organization or individual can surpass the nation and laws. Judging from all these above, the multi-party rule democracy system is completely appropriate for Chinese society.
