Wenjin Zhu: The Autocratic Regime Provides Shelter for Corruption
朱雯瑾(Wenjin Zhu)
The autocratic regime behaves shamelessly and is full of violence and lies. These are the common features of CCP’s culture of autocracy and are the core ideas of this autocratic culture. Under the control of CCP’s autocratic culture in the society of China, the CCP authority can exert unlimited power ignoring all laws in China. After their seizing of power in 1949, CCP has reached the top of their statues. The CCP has long called their own officials as “Leaders of Party and Nation” with audacity and openly put themselves on the position higher than the country and people.
CCP’s culture of autocracy shows its hegemonic everywhere. The government monopolizes the politics, culture, thoughts, education, military and other aspects of society. Especially in the recent three decades after the so-called “Open up and Reform”, its monopoly over economy becomes explicit. The followers of CCP control the lands, energy resources, railways, electricity, banks, airplanes, media and all other industries.
There is lots of unfairness in China faced by the people. The inequity in distribution is at the first place. Distribution unfairness and the law injustice will certainly lead to an inequity in the society. The CCP group forcefully monopolizes the power to distribute interests and assist the officials to corrupt at will. The corruption then establishes a system in China. The people seldom dare to critic the overall corruption among government officials. This is the fundamental reason for the increasingly severe corruption in the society of China.
