Chen,Hao: The Government Must Take the Responsibility for the Increasingly Deterioration Environment of China

In China, the prevailing of many diseases has direct relation with the deterioration of environment. The high speed development of economy in China brings a severe consequence, the destruction of environment. Many industrial companies lack effective initiatives on environment protection. They emit dirty air, waste water and solid waste directly to the environment, which leads to the continuous deterioration of environment. The air quality in many regions of China can’t reach the standard. Drinking water is seriously polluted and diseases spread widely.
Emphasizing economy must base on the emphasis on environment protection, especially keeping the environment protection politics and investment pace to pace. By mere words, no intentions of effectively protecting environment can be reached. The deterioration of environment in China is mainly caused by a relatively lagging energy on environment protection compared to the economy development.
The gradual degeneration of environment in China threatens people’s health. As an economy giant, the government of China must take the responsibility and review its faults. By investing more on environment protection, the government can contribute to protection over environment.
