Xiangyun Xie: Must Ameliorate the Human Rights Conditions in China Fundamentally
谢香云(Xiangyun Xie)
Though the government of China has promised for many times to ameliorate human rights conditions in China, but the human rights record of Chinese government is far from satisfactory when it comes to the real actions to implement their promises. Contemporary Chinese people have no basic human rights, which is the consequence of a lagging policy in human rights made by the government of China. For many years, Chinese government always does against their sayings. On one hand, they barely say that they intend to ameliorate human rights. On the other hand, they keep on harassing, arresting and sentencing the rights defenders, dissents, religionists and China Democracy Party members. Besides, the government intercepts arrest and puts in prison the petitioners. As a result, China’s human rights situations rank the last in international community. All these are the concrete expression of a society under one-party dictatorship of CCP.
As a member of Chine Democracy Party myself, I hereby sincerely appeal for international society to place pressure on Chinese government to push them to adjust its human rights policy. Therefore, the steps towards democracy, human rights and legislation will accelerate. A environment respecting and ameliorating human rights will be formed. Only then can the human rights situation in China be truly ameliorated.
