Lin,Jie: Chinese government must emphasize environmental protection from Macro-view

Chinese economy development has increased in high-rate for couple of years. It also has been unprecedentedly polluted the environment and deterred the ecology. In the recent 3 decades, Chinese environment deterioration has gradually reached the limitation. In the developed area and medium and big cities, it has been obvious. The water is odorous, and can’t be drunk. The air is filled with dusty, and smell bad. The garbage is filed up like a mountain. The degree of environmental pollution is stunning.
It is such a serious environmental pollution due to long-run economy development emphasis and neglect of environment protection. The government can’t take off the responsibility. Chinese environmental problem has been attracted the attention from the International society and it has been appealed for the emphasis on environmental problem.
It indicates that in order to pursue economy benefits, all-level of government and official would rather sacrifice environment and the trouble of this act is endless. Thus, Chinese government should learn from it, adjust greatly on the policy; emphasize environmental protection from the premise of economy development; practically enforce environmental protection, propaganda the environmental protection, improve the awareness of whole people, increase the investment on the environmental protection, and dedicate to it.
