Wang, Zhihong: Ameliorate the Human Rights Situation of Chinese Women
王志红(Wang , Zhihong)
In a modern and civilized society, every people is equal and all have basic human rights.
In an autocratic society, the power of government and officials comes from the tyrant ruling groups. Their power won’t serve for the people and only preserve the benefits of the autocratic government. On premise of these conditions, no matter how severely the officials oppress ordinary people, deprive their basic human rights and exert corruption and embezzlement, the government not only leaves it not punished and even protects these officials by helping them get rid of critics.
In contemporary Chinese society, people have no basic human rights, especially women as weakened minority. As a Chinese woman myself, I have personal and deep feelings on how CCP authority utilize birth control policy to infringe women’s human rights. Besides this, women are discriminated by the government at aspects of education, employment, medical care, welfare and other living conditions.
In the recent decades, large scale of Chinese women pay high price for government’s birth control policy. As a government, it doesn’t review many problems in the birth control policy and even defend for it. To improve the human rights of Chinese women, we can’t expect on Chinese government totally. Chinese people have to strive for the human rights by themselves.
