Chen, Jiulong: Let All Children in Rural Areas Receive Appropriate Education

There are many children in China still living in poverty. They not only have no appropriate living conditions, but also lack normal education. Some children even face the danger of losing opportunity to study.

At time when Chinese government applies obligated education, it can’t ignore problems in rural areas where economy and culture are respectively left behind. Seen from the distribution of student population, most students are born in villages and grow up in rural areas. However, the education funds from government mostly go to the cities. Education in rural areas is long ignored. The students in villages can’t get appropriate education and have excellent teachers.

The government must change the situation of education inequality and distribute education funds fairly. The record should be transparent towards all people. Education in rural areas must be taken care of. As a result, all children in rural areas can receive appropriate education.
