Ge, Hua: Corruption Causes the Severe Income Polarization in Chinese Society
葛华(Ge, Hua)
The government of China proposes “Reform and open Up” in order to make the economy dynamic. A part of population is allowed to become rich first and so are some areas. This policy is primarily aimed at letting people make wealth by indigent labor and individual wisdom, not the systematical disadvantages which are utilized by some people to collect money, corrupt and embezzle. People’s sufferings are then used as stakes to help them be rich. They can’t sacrifice people’s benefits to make wealth.
Nowadays, the income polarization in China is enlarging continuously. Most people find it difficult to make a living. They feel like returning back to times before the establishment of China. Isn’t it CCP’s autocratic system that leads to the social phenomenon? To this problem, the majority agrees: The income polarization firstly due to the corruption under an autocratic system. Therefore, to solve the severe income polarization in China, corruption must be eliminated firstly. Punishing corruption must reform contemporary autocratic system in Chinese society.
