Jiang, Funa: Chinese People Need Democracy, Freedom and Human Rights
姜伏娜(Jiang, Funa)
I am a normal student born after 1980s. After coming to US, I am luckily enough to know China Democracy Party and become a member of it. At the times, I have access to democracy and start to understand the true meaning of democracy. Seen from the words, (in Chinese), democracy stands for the ruling of all people. The ways to rule a country with democracy and the scale included by democracy have many differed definitions, but the general principal is the ruling of majority. Democracy politics is often taken to be compared with oligarchy and autocracy. Under the two system, the political power is in hands of a small amount of people, which is nothing like the democracy politics under the control of people. The simple word “Democracy” is finally known to me after I have been 20 years old.
We children born in 1980s are the test sample for CCP’s “Touching the stones to cross river” policy.
When we are in primary school, university is free. When we are in university, the primary school is free. When we take the college entrance examination, millions of students compete. After we graduate, examination is unnecessary for college and diploma can be purchased. When we are still in college, the diploma is already useless and employment is low. Before we can work, jobs are distributed by country. At time we can work, we have to fight and bleed blood to get a position. When we can’t earn money, houses are distributed by government. After we are able to make money, we find the houses prices are never affordable. Before we reach the age of marriage, we can marry only having one buckle as property. When we grow enough to marry, houses and cars are essentials for the wedding. Before we enter the stock market, even silly people can make money. After we excitedly rush into the market, we find ourselves becoming a silly.
This is the life of us Chinese born in 1980s. What’s the fundamental reason for this generation to become this way? Why we only have bare hands with us until now? There is only one reason: the tyrant and autocratic regime of CCP!
The generation of my mother has been teaching us how great the CCP is. But after living for 20 years, I feel disappointed and finally desperate for CCP. I want to tell my mother’s generation that you haven’t seen the outside world yet. Our thoughts are too narrow under CCP’s influence. We only dare to follow CCP’s steps and never have a second thought. I also want thank my mother for sending me out of the country, so that I can recognize the ugly faces of these corruptive CCP officials.
We want human rights! We want freedom! We want democracy!
