Yang, Cheng: Autocratic System Leads to Severe Corruption
杨成(Yang, Cheng)
CCP authority is an autocratic government and is a interest group as well. Member of this group can easily get a position in government and become an official “justifiably”. They will be taken care of by the group. These officials have power in hands appointed by CCP’s political control. This power only has to be responsible for the higher officials and get rid of people’s supervision completely. Officials can use the power to make deal with money. Therefore, money keeps on flowing into officials’ pockets. The CCP group not only controls Chinese society, but also controls all resources of this country. Chinese people are ruled spiritually and physically. In today’s Chinese society, corruption happens where there is most power. Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. This is a principle recognized by all contrived in world. Absolute power makes corruption prevailing in Chinese society and unable to be eliminated.
Among so many social problems in China, corruption stays in the central position. Corruption is the product of CCP’s policy of using market oriented economy and is the result of a lack of supervision and restriction on CCP’s power. For many years, Chinese people have paid high price for the corruption under CCP’s one-party dictatorship. Though CCP government has realized the potential danger under the corruption, all its actions can’t fundamentally solve the problems. As a government, it should find the reasons from systematical aspect. This is the key to eliminate corruption.
The corruptive socials system in China makes a large number of corruptive officials. Therefore, all kinds of corruption appear. Corruption has become a special phenomenon in China. It not only assists more political corruption but also deepens the contradictions between officials and people. The society is unsteady because of it. To oppress corruption in China, the only way is to abandon autocratic system completely and realize multi-party rule democracy political system.
