Li, Tingjun: Chinese Government Should Give Speech Freedom to All People

Every people living in a civilized society have the basic rights of speech freedom. However, the Chinese government restricts people’s speech freedom. To maintain their tyrant and autocratic regime, CCP authority strictly controls people’s speech freedom. People are not allowed to transmit ideas of democracy, freedom and human rights. The government controls all media and internet. All information has to be censored by government. The information received from newspapers, televisions and internet lacks authenticity. They can’t understand the truth and objectively know the society and the world.
Chinese government depraves people’s rights of talking. They can’t freely express their thoughts and ideas, not to mention to critic, supervise or judge the government and officials. The actions of restricting speech freedom are totally against the natural principle of human development. It should be stopped immediately and people should get back the rights of speech freedom.
