Zhang, Guohong: Opening Up Internet is Beneficial to Speech Freedom

CCP authority controls more and more strictly on the internet. The censorship means are also becoming increasingly severe. CCP always controls all media, threat the national politics, occupy the national machine, oppress speech freedom and arrest internet users who show different opinions on internet. Chinese people are not able to know the social truth. People’s true voices can’t be heard. The authority of government is decreasing year after year. Chinese people lose the trust in government.
Seeking the future route for China, the government must first completely open up the internet and stop censoring the internet. Therefore information flows faster and the internet becomes more convenient. It not only contributes to the development of Chinese economy, but also provides conditions for the ideas of democracy, freedom and civilization to spread across China. Only then can people get back their rights of speech freedom. There are more outlets for speeches and more collections of thoughts. Billions of internet users can normally get up the internet and express their different political ideas. As a result, the Chinese society can have social civilization progress.
