Lin Zhang: China Must Have a Reasonable System to Oppress Corruption

Corruption is a difficult problem for Chinese government presently. Since the establishment of CCP’s leadership, corruption and anti-corruption is an attentive contradiction in the development of China’s economy and social progress. Chinese government has never ceased the construction of a clean government, which has lasted for over ten years. It is always waving from “corruption” and “punishment”.

We should say that corruption has become a social problems attracting Chinese people’s focus and has caused attention from international community. Especially after the economy reform and open up of China, the government of China stimulates economy development at one hand, numerous officials participate in corruption at the other hand. Though the government has made severe anti-corruption initiatives and established many anti-corruption departments, it’s confusing that officials’ corruption behaviors never be curbed effectively. The severe anti-corruption rules haven’t effectively stopped officials’ corruption. The cases of corruption keep on increasing and the amount of money becomes much larger. What’s the source of these problems? It is that Chinese government never has a true system to oppress corruption of officials. This system is an equal, justice, democratic and free system.

The government under a democracy and freedom system is people’s government, not the corruptive officials’ government. No matter a corruptive official and a righteous official, they are all equal facing the system. Who violates the system should accept deserving punishment. Autocratic system can only harm the nation and the people. Under a democracy and freedom system, the government must deal with corruption faithfully. This corruption can truly have liveliness. The anti-corruption activities can’t reach effects. The key is the reform of social system.
