Xue, Aiqin: Abolish the Inhumane Birth Control Policy

30 years ago, Chinese government made the world famous birth control policy to curb the fast growth of population. Chinese people say that the government controls all things, people, money and even the birth of children. In fact, ordinary people are only making jokes on government. The birth control policy has been infringing and trampling Chinese women’s basic human rights since the first day it came out.
The enter purpose of Chinese government’s birth control policy is simple. That is, all couples are allowed to have one child only, no matter boy or girl. Women not reaching the legal age can’t give birth to child. Before giving birth to a child, women have to apply for permission from government’s birth control department. Once the certificate is given, the woman can then have the baby. Otherwise, she will be forced to do abortion.
The bodies and even lives of Chinese women suffer damages for long. Nowadays, all Chinese women have woken up. They want immediate abolishment of this inhumane birth control policy. They want to have babies freely and ask for protection on their basic human rights.
