Chen, Jiulong: A Democratic Government’s Power Comes from People
Government’s power comes from the acknowledgment and granting of people. This legitimacy decides that government must serve people. When it’s in peace, government protects citizens’ legal property and freedom, guarantee legislation and make sure the market rules. However, CCP’s governments’ actions prove that it doesn’t protect people’s property but destroy it. It is not protecting freedom but murdering it. It never protects legislation but tramples it. It’s not making sure market rules but destroying and disturbing market. The government tramples laws, abuses power and let power overpass people’s will.
A government like this acts against reforming directions, seeks political power and economy rights. This government disturbs people’s lives and breaks market orders. This government is destroying people’s property and occupying people’s interests. Chinese people should abandon it completely. Nowadays, the biggest problem in China is that people are not bad, but the government is. The prevailing political system in China is a big problem. If there is no democracy reform and transformation from autocracy to democracy in government, Chinese people’s dignity, people’s rights and destiny can’t be guaranteed.
