Liu, Xiongchuan: Chinese Society Needs Equality and Justice

The reform and open up policy of Chinese government allows a speedy development of economy. People have higher income in the process of economy development and their life is ameliorated. However, due to the social system, officials corrupt. The unfair interest distribution makes income gap larger and larger. In contemporary Chinese society, income polarization and corruption have become the main aspect of social contradiction. There are two aspects of reasons.
Firstly, the social system of China is unfair. This policy lacking justice and reason leads to the social contradictions.
Secondly, government and it officials are not elected by people. CCP authority controls all levels of government in China. Officials are designated by relative department. They only serve CCP authority. They seldom do things for people and ignore all justice. Moreover, they oppress and persecute people.
A government should speak for its people and do practical things for people. The administration party can’t have own interests. CCP government must give up their personal interests and promote reforms. Therefore, equality and justice can be reached, which is the only outlet for all social problems in China.
