Ding, Baolai: Realize Legislation and Guarantee Human Rights

Chinese leaders promote establishment of a “harmony society”. The condition for “harmony society” to establish is to realize legislation. Only a society with legislation can have tolerance and justice. Officials and people are equal. This is the basic mode for “harmony society”.
Nowadays, the social system in China is an autocratic one. Under autocratic system, “harmony society” is impossible. The “harmony” promoted by CCP government is mere illusion, because a truly “harmony society” has to be established on a system with democracy and freedom.
The other important point is a complete legal system, which could really guarantee people’s basic human rights. This is the route to a “harmony society”. If a government can make human rights ideal known to every family and person, the incidents of trampling human rights and persecuting people will be lesser under control of this kind of government. Chinese government must do works of promoting legislation and human rights well. Therefore, all Chinese can gradually have an idea that establishing “harmony society” should base on legislation and human rights.
