Zhou, Guangqiang: Ordinary People Can’t Get Rid of Persecution from Autocratic Political Power
The higher Chinese government pay for anti-corruption, the more furious corruption becomes. People’s enthusiasm to oppose corruption is not in proportion with corruptive people’s enthusiasm to buy and sell government positions. Every anti-corruption people have an account book in their minds: Even if I succeed, how many benefits can I gain personally? If I do not oppose corruption, how much harm can it so to me?
There never lacks “Anti-Corruption Fighters” in China’s history. In fact, in cases of corruption which are inspected already, almost 9 out of 10 are exposed because of people’s reports. Though we can’t pay mush for those anti-corruption fighters, government has the obligation to decrease the anti-corruption cost to the least. At least, people shouldn’t suffer too much loss. However, the facts are always against people’s will. Almost every “Anti-Corruption Fighters” with enthusiasm have a bloody economy account book to fight against corruptive people. They can’t get rid of attacks and persecution from the political power.
