Contemporary social morale in Chine is not so good. People have really low degree of trust on other people. It can be said as a society with low level of trust. The ordinary phenomenon is that people have low degree trust on government officials. From people’s talks on roads and talks between friends and relatives, most officials have low authority, even higher level officials with exception. Because of these points, people often send presents and briber officials when they need to have something done.

In areas of education and medical industry, the situation is not so good as well. Doctors ask for rebate and teachers uncover test questions. All their behaviors seriously harm the morality as doctors and teachers. People’s attitude on education and medical industry is the baseline of social trust. It is used to measure a society’s trust level. These exposed phenomena are really surprising. All these facts have proven why the social morale in China is so bad.
