Li, Li: China Should Once Again “Reform and Open Up”

“Reform and Open Up” is a strategic policy made by China Communist Party at the Third Session of China Communist Party’s 11th Plenary Conference, which was literally said as “reform domestically and open up externally”. It is the first basic national policy aimed at opening up externally since the establishment of People’s Republic of China. One of this policy’s effects is the changed situation of China, which was formerly totally isolated from outside world. The mainland China opened up to the whole world. Meanwhile, domestic people’s living standard increases significantly. China’s image in the world is ameliorated. Mainland China started its long term phase of high speed economy development. Nowadays, China should once again “reform and open up”. It must reform contemporary system and terminate one-party dictatorship. Therefore, people could truly enjoy speech freedom.
After Google incident this time, people in world realize for a second time that P.R.China under CCP’s control is the nation with most restrictions on internet. International community is adding pressure on China to stop Chinese government from restricting and censoring internet. The development of internet has promoted world’s civilization. Chinese people as members of Earth Village should enjoy a free and opened internet as well, not the internet supervised by CCP government’s “internet police” and connected only to websites infiltrated by CCP.
