Yan, Lijun: Reform China’s Education System

The purpose of education is to spread products of human being’s civilization. Human can develop healthily and reproduce continuously under the civilization. Why so many people in China’s education area, especially education administration department, can’t understand this simple rule? They only administrate so-called party’s education career and keep on insisting on training successors.
Chinese government never reviews their direction of education. We can see this from media, press and articles on magazines. Some officials in education department only complain the low standard of education in China and attribute the responsibility to the low quality of teachers. They blame teachers’ ability and lack of essential professional level.
The low quality of teachers is a truth. However, people in many other industries in China, such as college professors and famous scientists, how about their quality? At a time without freedom in thoughts, some become “famous thinkers”. In a nation without science, some become “famous scientists”. Except from the government’s lack of shame, what else can be proven? If the social system is no changed in China, any education reform is vain saying.
