Ma, Zijuan: The Trace of Nation
马自娟(Ma, Zijuan)
I call myself a patriotic youngster. I agree that Taiwan is an inseparable part of China (not the one controlled by CCP). Therefore, I love Taiwan as well. “China” is not a name for an empire. It is a general name for all culture inside the Hua and Xia ethnic circle. People across the shore are all Chinese. The only difference is that one is called People’s Republic of China and the other is called Republic of China. When it comes age, the later is elder, but the former one has much more lands in hand. The later regards the former a thief stealing the nation and the former considers later one’s actins as separating the nation. Those two wage between peace and conflict. However, they all agree the truth that itself is the authentic one – the “One China”. This situation is a special legacy from World War II and is the lasr strange phenomenon in the political structure of China.
I absolutely support unity. At least, people can enter and exit freely without going through the custom. As for conditions of unity, it is as simple as returning back to Chongqin negotiation. Sixty five years ago, the pioneers of CCP wrote a peace nation establishing principals. From my point of view, it is still the best suitable terms until now. In addition, many terms in it are included in the two’s constitution respectively – such as press and speech freedom, opposition to one-party dictatorship and so on. All these only lack true implementing. The island on the other side has already finished the transformation from military politics to constitutional politics. It won’t be that difficult for it to accept these terms anymore. However, successors on the other shore still hold tightly the flag of communism. How come can uniting homeland be an easy job? The political leaders in People’s Republic of China want what kind of stability and peace. Their minds are not possible to be guessed.
