Sun, Jian: Respecting and Protecting Human Rights Must Be Practiced into Actions

CCP government tramples people’s basic human rights for a long time. Among all, violent demolition and depravation of people’s resident rights are most typical. Forced demolition is an example of how CCP government persecutes people when administrates its power. Numerous families and ordinary people suffer tragedies during its regime.
After experiencing high speed development of economy in last decades, varied social problems become extremely severe. Problems of human rights are becoming more and more obvious. Chinese people have gradually strengthened their thoughts on protection of basic human rights. CCP officials start large scale constructions such as buildings, city roads and green constructions in order to make their own political achievements and facial constructions. In the process of old city demolition and reconstruction, many people living at lowest level of society become the direct victims of violent demolition. They therefore form a special group of people who strive for justice to higher level government hoping to justify their human rights.
Human rights are granted by the god and are holly. Protecting human rights is not a kind of gratitude, but the obliged responsibility of a government. Chinese government must make human rights into government’s system and let people see government’s respect, protection and amelioration on human rights.
Developing the awareness of democracy, freedom, human rights and legislation inside Chinese people, helping the weaken minority and increasing the justice in society call for Chinese government’s true implementation of human rights promotion and protection. Only then, can people truly become the masters of country. A harmony society centered on people can therefore be the signal of the social progress.
