In some regions of China, though the industrialism level has developed, economy has progressed and productivity has increased significantly, the environment pollution is becoming a more and more obvious problem. The air in some areas seriously passes the dirty content standard. The clarity of air is so low. There are poisonous essences in drinking water. Vegetable and fruit are poisonous. The industrial wastes are randomly disposed without proper treatment. Waste water is poured out at will…
Since China’s reform and open up, economy development becomes the primary goal. To reach this goal, government has to sacrifice environment high economy output. When a government deals with environment problems in that way, how can they be able to protect environment? Though Chinese government has realized the severe situation of environment recently, government officials still lack the pressure of environment protection.
When a nation’s economy develops, it should place environment protection at an important place. The environment awareness needs to be raised. As for environment, we should try to protect first, not pollute. We should not firstly pollute it and try to make it up after wards, not to mention ignoring the environment.
