Wu,Zhe: China Has Serious Environment Problem

In present China, billions of people are short of clean water to drink; many people in rural areas have to drink water polluted by industrial factories. Some food production companies even use polluted water to produce food, which can not be differentiated via surface appearance. In some areas, aquatic products are polluted. Quite a large part of fish and shrimp in the market are from the polluted water.
Chinese government has an unshirkable responsibility for this issue. Whole environment of China is deteriorating rapidly due to pursuing economic benefit unilaterally and damaging natural environment for a long time. Environment pollution directly influences public health and endangers safety of their lives. Environmental pollution rings the bell to China. Nowadays, Chinese people realize the problem of environmental pollution extensively. People focus on environment protection more and more each day, trying to avoid environmental damaging behaviors.
Chinese government must devote its attention to environment protection. On one side, it should disseminate ideas regarding environment protection to enhance people’s concept on environment protection; on the other side, it should strengthen legislation and input more capital to contribute to environment protection.
