The Chinese government always behaves high-profile in the anti-corruption problems, saying that no matter how high the statues of a official is, how great his title is and how powerful his backgrounds are, the government will strictly punish the officials and give good responses to the people’s dissatisfaction. However, what’s the result coming out? More fierce the anti-corruption movements are, much higher the corruptive officials’ positions are and much larger their desire for money is.

To analyze the causes of corruption, one is the absolute power in hands of the corruptive men which comes from the autocratic system instead of the ordinary people. The other is the greedy nature of human beings. Sending gifts and inviting for dinners are typical form of China’s “Corruptive Cultural” and have already deeply rooted in the thoughts of all ordinary people. Therefore, the big environment for prevailing corruption is created. Here comes a strange phenomenon: Everyone speaks anti-corruption on the table and everyone thinks about corruption and collecting money under table. In this kind of society, once you become an official, you can’t avoid taking part in corruption.

Since the serious problems of corruption in China are caused by present system, solving the problems should start from the system. Abandoning the decadent autocratic system is the only sound strategy to eliminate corruption.
