Yu,Cide: “Cultural Revolution” is the Product of CCP’s Autocratic System
余赐德(Yu,Cide )
Chinese people at my age still have fresh memory of the “Cultural Revolution” in 1960s. In 1966, the dictator Zedong Mao of CCP, initiated the unprecedented “Cultural Revolution” on purpose of maintaining his personal power and keeping people’s blind worship towards him. As a result, millions of Chinese started to fight against each other and bring a large scale of bloody war in the lands of China. The whole country fell into disorder for more than a decade.
In “Cultural Revolution”, many innocent people got injured, disabled and killed because of the cruel violent fights. Millions of Chinese people were tortured. Moreover, the culture, historic remains and legacy went through disastrous damage. The economy of China almost collapsed. Once again, Chinese people suffered ruthless mental and physical devastation.
In this striking “Cultural Revolution”, the dictator Mao faced real rivals in the fights and wanted back control of the country finally. He succeeded. However, innocent Chinese people had paid high price. Nowadays, Chinese people has woke up and they will never let “Cultural Revolution” appear again.
