Li,Fanglei: Chinese Government Should not Let Education Field Corrupted
李方磊(Li,Fanglei)
Corruption in the Chinese education management system leads to corruption in educational organizations and deterioration of morality of schools. In addition, it directly threatens every student’s healthy development. After the reform in China, every school began to create names to implement education charges on various items, in which many teachers participated. Students who can afford them may get enrolled while those who cannot afford it may not get enrolled. How can this be called compulsory education proposed by the Chinese government? How can schools and teachers like them set a model example for students?
Education should keep its dignity as deserved. It should possess its standards as required. When the education morale of a society degrades, it is hard to talk about quality of education, let alone issues regarding teaching lessons and educating people. The one who will be influenced at last is students who receive education directly.
Nowadays, corruption in Chinese society is widespread as a disaster. The government must pay enough attention to it. It should not allowed corruption into the education field, an area for children to study and develop. We should leave a clean place for education. We should manage education according to law and make education transparent to implement real compulsory education.
