Ban,Jincheng: The Chinese Government Should Strengthen Management on Food Security

Environment pollution in China is becoming more and more severe. Toxic content and pesticide residue in vegetable, fruits and rural byproducts produced in polluted areas is far beyond health standards. For the same reason, quite a part of the processed food produced by food factories in polluted areas does not confirm to food security standards, such as toxic milk products, candies, bread, cookies, and so on.
Accidents regarding food security happen every day. Group toxic incident due to food happens from time to time. As a government, no matter what reason it utilized to explain group toxic incident to shirk their responsibility, all words they applied are pale and weak, let alone smoothing the public’s anger.
Food security in China makes not only the Chinese people but also the international society worried. Behind every accident regarding food security, there is an element of absolute trend. As a government, the Chinese government should find the real reason for accidents regarding food security as soon as possible, which is related to life security of every Chinese.
