Wang, Zhihong: Why the Wealth Gap in China Is Becoming Bigger and Bigger
王志红(Wang,Zhihong)
The wealth gap in the Chinese society is becoming bigger and bigger due to reasons in many aspects. The first, the unfairness in the Chinese social system creates unfair distribution. The second, government officials possess absolute authority beyond the common people’s supervision and limitation of law. Under such circumstances, a large amount of corrupted officials appear. They make deals regarding exchange of power and money with bosses of financial groups, eat and drink every day, and bully the public. As a result, the common people become poorer and poorer. In addition, there is an autocratic regime. Therefore, unprecedented corruption comes into being in the Chinese society.
The Chinese authority implements so called “socialistic stated owned system”. Market economy under such a system is very incomplete. The social distribution system is not fair. The opportunistic officials try every means to make money with infighting among them all the time . Thus, the wealth gap is huge and becomes bigger and bigger as time goes by.The problem of severe unfair distribution in the Chinese society has caused extensive attention of people with conscience. In order to solve it, we need support from the international just force by which to promote reform on Chinese social system together.
